• Do you need help with flood recovery?

Resilient Lismore might be able to help you.

Note: our current timeframe from registration to assessment is four weeks unless the job is urgent.

    - We might be able to help with repairing your home so it is safe to live in
    - We might be able to help restore your toilet, hot water and essential plumbing
    - We might be able to help you restore your kitchen
    - We might be able to connect you to volunteer help with odd jobs
    - and we might be able to help you access furniture and whitegoods if you need them.

We prioritise people who can't progress their rebuild and recovery on their own; and we try to help as many people as we can. We can’t always get to everyone quickly but we will try.

Resilient Lismore works in Lismore and surrounds and in the downstream communities of Coraki, Wardell, Woodburn and more. Just because our name says Lismore doesn’t mean we can’t help you if you live in another place.

Fill out the form at the link below and we will call you or visit you to see if we can help you.

You can also visit us at 215 Keen St (Corner of Conway St and Keen St), Lismore. Our hours are Tuesday to Friday 9am to 4pm, and we can help you to register your request in person.

We will try to meet as many requests as possible, but we can’t always guarantee that we will get to you quickly. Your request will be assessed as soon as possible but we encourage you to try to resolve it on your own if you can.

    What we can’t help with
We are not doing renovations or total rebuilds, but we will try to help you repair your home so you have somewhere safe and secure to live.

We don’t strip out houses - although if you are donating items to us we can help remove them.

We can’t help you with builder’s quotes for insurance purposes.

We can’t help with food vouchers or cost of living assistance. You can access food through the Good Pantry at 51 Wyrallah Road, East Lismore, and you might be able to get crisis support through Northern Rivers Community Gateway at 76 Carrington Street, Lismore.

In most cases we can’t help you with asbestos removal. You can remove up to 10m2 yourself, and can purchase a kit through Lismore City Council to do so. Any larger quantities you will need a licensed contractor to do the removal for you. You can read more information about asbestos here.
